I was still going through tutorials via w3scools.com, even though it is already so late. But in my defense, I'm learning a little about how html works and how to combine stuff to well.. make a website a website. I remember some stuff from my days of playing on IMVU and collecting badges. I kind of remember adding an auto music player to my IMVU page lol, but it must have been at least 10 years since I properly sat down and played around with html. Very nice to at least recognize some of the stuff I would do, and also stuff I was trying to teach myself how to do just recently with my first post and updating my about page.
I even just figured out how to add this post to my post array so you could read it now! Pretty proud of myself right there 😋
I'm not going to say that I can get this down within days and also be able to make this blog more complicated though, I fear I still have a while to go before I can confidently think I'm right and then break the entire site for an hour attempting my ideas. Maybe I'll actually keep this skill this time and be able to do professional work with it one day, I think that would be really cool.

So we were going to go out today, but instead we took time to do chores around the house. The day we were going to get up early to get stuff done AND still go out for enjoyment there was construction outside starting at like 8AM... so we didn't really sleep all that well 🫠. At least I feel good about myself getting SOME chores done, I still have plenty to do but getting a whole room done was pretty fulfilling for now. I still need to clean up the bedroom, which I guess I'll do at some point this week.

I think I would love to work on a landing page, so far I'm kind of learning how to link to stuff inbetween folders and how to use buttons. Currently working in a space that isn't linked to the blog, so I can really explore how to do this. Eventually, I think I will make it link to the blog when it is in its own folder. I don't think I'd figure out how to create this whole blog system myself any time soon, so the goal is to just keep using zonelets for the blog. Maybe create my own theme/style for the landing page instead of depending on zonelets style.css. I still don't understand how to make several boxes like others have made on their own site, but that's something I really want to learn! I think this zonelets system for blog posts is perfect for my long form posts, most other blogs I've looked at only have short form blog posts.
